National Supreme Queens

I am Tara Nicole your 2003 Miss American Rose 0-5 National Supreme Queen. I am from North Carolina and have been competing in pageants since I was 2  months old. I attend a Christian Preschool & I take tap, ballet & jazz class  too! I enjoy volunteer service, singing on stage & I love rollercoasters.  I'm VERY tall for my age & have been on rollercoasters in 14 different  amusement parks! I am so excited to have been chosen as an American Rose National queen, I think it is so wonderful how this program rewards girls for their achievements!!!	Elizabeth Bowers lives in Johnson City Tennessee.  She is a student at University High school.  She is a 2002 All American Scholar, has been named to the National Honor Roll, and was awarded the Presidential Academic Achievement Award.  Elizabeth volunteers weekly and has founded two Volunteer Service Organizations, The Noah's Ark March, and My Hand Your Key.  Elizabeth enjoys playing the clarinet and is a member of the Varsity Track Team. National Queens

	Katie Perry is a 2 year old from Arlington, Texas. She is a very outgoing, friendly, and full of smiles. Katie takes gymnastics, attends preschool, and loves watching Blues Clues. She also has a great time playing with her big brother and dog. Katie looks forward to her National reign!		Hannah is four years old and lives in Holly Springs, North Carolina.  She has been doing pageants and photo contests for almost a year and has won many titles.  Hannah most enjoys dancing, reading, and playing with her big brother.   One of the things that makes Hannah so special is her contagious giggle.
	Lindsey George-Reyes, 9, is a 4th grader from Beverly Hills, Calif. She is an accomplished singer, dancer and artist. She has won many awards for her artistic abilities. She also belongs to 2 cheerleading squads. The Westside Bruin Football Cheer Squad and the Beverly Hills Park & Rec Competitive Squad. Lindsey has a great passion for animals. She is very concerned about the care and safety of all animals and wants to be a Vet when she grows up.		Danielle is an eighth grader from the small state of Iowa!  She enjoys kick-boxing, softball, volleyball, yoga, and, every girl's favorite, shopping!  She is planning to graduate high school with honors and then pursue her career in acting and modeling while going to college at Northwestern!
	Elizabeth is a Homeschooled Sophomore Honor student from Kingsport ,TN. She is active in Volunteering in her Church and Community. She enjoys Gymnastics, Dancing, Golf, and playing with her Cats, Blackberry, Raspberry & Gracie. Her Platform is Adoption Awareness. She plans to pursue a career in Special Education Teaching or Coaching Gymnastics. She is Sponsored By her Loving Parents.		Brigid graduated as valedictorian of her high school class in 2002 with a 4.0 GPA. She is now enjoying her 1st year as pre-medical student at MIT with plans  to acquire a PhD in Neuroscience along with her MD. She is currently involved with the American Medical Student Association, the Braintrust service group, an on-campus musical and a Rhode Island Senate campaign.

Lana Henry is a graduate student at Chapman University working on a Maters of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership, with a 4.0 GPA. Lana works as a Probation Officer for the Los Angeles County Probation Department.  Through her pageant participation, she has had an opportunity to further promote her platform of empowering at-risk youth. She enjoys singing, dancing modeling and acting, and has had the opportunity to grace stages all over California, New York, and on Carnival Cruise Lines. She also is a part time pageant coach, voice teacher, acting and modeling teacher.

I feel very honored to be chosen to represent Miss American Rose as a Beauty Princess. I hold a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in History from Azusa Pacific University, where I was graduated with Dean's Honors. Currently, I am a 4.0 graduate student in the school of Graduate Education and Behavioral Studies at Azusa Pacific University. I will graduate in December 2003 with an M.A. in Educational Psychology and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential. I will begin my internship in Fall 2003 as a high school guidance counselor.  I will be married to a wonderful man, Darrick on July 5, 2003 in Newport Beach, Ca.  I am sponsored by my wonderful family, and fiance! Laura resides in Powder Springs, GA with her husband David. She has a daughter, Angie, who is a student at Auburn University in Auburn, AL. Laura is a special education (behavior disorders) teacher at Pebblebrook High School. In her spare time she enjoys dancing, reading, traveling and competing in pageants. Laura is actively involved in her community and is a member of her church Missions team to the Czech Republic.	Nerissa is a freshman honor student at Virginia Tech majoring in Political  Science. She has done gymnastics for 15 years and it currently on the Virginia Tech gymnastics team. She also loves to dance and play the piano. Nerissa is a member of the Gamma Beta Phi honor society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She enjoys mentoring and working with youth-at-risk, while promoting her platform, RESPECT.	Amanda is 12 years old and attends 7th grade at Endeavor Charter Academy in Battle Creek, Michigan where she is an honor student. She is a cheerleader, gymnast, English horseback rider, and active Girl Scout. Amanda's community involvement includes work with the Humane Society, Wigs for Kids, Kohman Race for the Cure, Samaritan's Purse, and making quilts for the homeless shelter. She founded SAVE (Students Against Violence Everywhere) which is working to prevent violence in schools.
